The ‘digital key’ technology that connects the car ‘smart key’ with a smartphone is evolving. Automatic door opening, replacement of car products, and door-to-door car washing services are possible.
Hyundai Mobis announced on the 2nd that it has officially launched a non-face-to-face vehicle management service called “Bring & T.”
If you attach a smart key to the body of the Bring & T product and connect it to a smartphone through Bluetooth, it will be changed to a digital key. You can download the app on the connected smartphone and register the vehicle. You can open and close the door with your smartphone and share your smart key with others. There is also an “automatic door” function that automatically opens and closes a door at a certain distance even if you have a smartphone in your clothes pocket.
You can also apply for door-to-door replacement of consumable automotive supplies such as air conditioning filters and wipers. Tire replacement or door-to-door car washing are also possible. Digital keys are automatically shared with visiting drivers, and consumers can know the status of the service in real time. It can be applied to most vehicles of Hyundai Motor, Kia, and Genesis. The price of Bring & Tea is 149,000 won.
An official from Hyundai Mobis said, “We will provide more diverse platform services by expanding not only non-face-to-face vehicle management but also service items such as consignment agencies to 10 by the second half of this year.”
